
NORAVANK READINGS (Lecture 5)
On March 26 the fifth lecture of the “Information Security” special course held within the framework of Noravank readings at “Noravank” Foundation was delivered.
The first part of the lecture on “Cultural Security” delivered by the expert of the Center for Information Security, lecturer at the Chair of Psychology of Personality, Sona Manusyan (PhD. in Psychology) was dedicated to the formulation of a notion of “culture” and main typological approaches. At the examples from the Armenian reality the mechanisms and processes of formation, preservation and transformation of the cultural essence were revealed.
In the second part the formulations and main components of cultural security in accordance with its object, type of influence and subject were presented. Such notions relating to the cultural security as globalization, cultural leveling, cultural diffusion, etc. were discussed.
The 1st year students of the Department of Journalism and 2nd year students of the Department of Political Studies of the International Academic and Educational Center of the RA NAS and the experts of “Noravank” Foundation were present at the lecture.
