NORAVANK READINGS (Lecture 3)

On March 5 the third lecture of the “Information Security” special course held within the framework of Noravank readings at “Noravank” Foundation was delivered.

Expert of the Center for Information Securty of “Noravank” Foundation Anna Zhamakochyan delivered a lecture on “New and Traditional Media in the Context of Information security”. The first part of the lecture was dedicated to the mass media (as an independent institution). In the second part of the lecture the restrictions of free functioning of mass media, criteria and methods of assessment of the quality of mass media and issues of journalist ethics and professionalism were discussed.

The 1st year students of the Department of Journalism and 2nd year students of the Department of Political Studies of the International Academic and Educational Center of the RA NAS and the experts of “Noravank” Foundation were present at the lecture.
