MECHANISMS OF IMPLEMENTATION OF LINGUISTIC RIGHTS OF THE NATIONAL MINORITIES

On 13 June a seminar on “Mechanisms of implementation of linguistic rights of the national minorities” was held at “Noravank” Foundation. The event featured Dr. Fernand de Varennes.

He presented the current state of the implementation of the provisions of international treaties and declarations in the sphere of national minorities’ linguistic rights protection in different states of the world and examples of legal processes on this issue.

Dr. Fernand de Varennes shared his vision of the prospects of development of the situation in the sphere of national minorities’ linguistic rights protection in the South Caucasus.
