DISCUSSION OF THE PROGRAM OF THE PAN-ARMENIAN UNIVERSITY CREATION AT “NORAVANK” FOUNDATION

On February 22, at the council of experts of “Noravank” Foundation the draft of the program of the Pan-Armenian University creation was discussed.

The event featured Deputy Director of “Noravank” Foundation Sevak Sarukhanyan who presented the goals of the Pan-Armenian University, spoke about the restoration and arranging of the intellectual resources of Armenia and Armeniancy, using them in the national interests, creation of the educational institution on the territory of the Republic of Armenia which would meet international standards. The importance of the role of the Pan-Armenian University in preserving national identity, providing competitive knowledge, turning into the regional educational center were pointed out.

An international experience of creation and functioning of such educational institutions was presented.

The presentation was followed by the discussion. Interesting proposals were made.
