ON THE ISSUES OF ENERGY SECURITY

On January 19 council of expert of “Noravank” Foundation was held. During the event the Deputy Executive Director of “Noravank” Foundation, the Head of the Center of Political Studies Sevak Sarukhanyan told about the results of his academic trip to Berlin which took place in October-December 2010. He presented the results of the works carried out by a team of experts researching the energy policy in the Caspian region. During the discussion arisen the participants touched upon the issues of energy security, prospects of construction of Nabucco and Transcaspian gas pipelines and gas export from Central Asia to the European Union.
