On the ninth of June in Noravank Foundation took place a round table headed under the title “state, church, society” in which took part the experts of the foundation, some representatives of Armenian Apostolic Church and other guests.
In his speech the director of the Foundation Gagik Harutyunyan pointed out that the present processes of globalization, which are followed by cultural, ideological, value changes are serious challenges to social spiritual security, thus now days “state, church, society” structural dialogue and cooperation are very important.
The priest Ter Avetis Danielyan noticed that though a few TV programs were broadcasted on the above mentioned subject nevertheless they don’t serve their purposes.
It was mentioned that it is necessary to make these programs more popular with the help of modern technologies and to make the language of Bible easy to understand.
It was also mentioned the importance of church’s position and elucidation of its approaches about the current processes that worry the society.
The participants decided to call on a scientific conference on the subject “state, church, society” which will become traditional taking into consideration the urgency of the above mentioned problems and the necessary of the steps to be made to solve them.
