A meeting with an Abkhazian journalist

On the 20th of January in Noravank Foundation took place a meeting with an Abkhazian journalist Roland Jojua During the meeting were discussed the internal political situation in Abkhazia after the elections, the state’s foreign policy and some problems concerning to economic relations.

R. Jogua represented interethnic and inter-religious relationships in Abkhazia. He also spoke about social-political activities and touched upon the problems of education. He mainly stressed up the lack of financial support by international organizations to Abkhazian NGOs. Most of them are in Georgia and are not eager to cooperate with their Abkhaz colleagues.

The participants of the meeting considered it important to maintain farther relations among Noravank Foundation and Abkhazian journalists and analysts.
