“ISSUES OF INFORMATION SECURITY” The second lesson of autumn school

On November 12 the second lesson of “Issues of Information Security” autumn school took place.

The presentation was made by the advisor of Foreign Minister of the NKR Hrachya Arzumanyan. The themes of his presentation were as follows: “Non-linear Paradigm of Social Systems: Chaos Theory” and “Net-centric Information Wars”.

In his report H. Arzumanyan was talking about the modern perception of the world by a human underlining the role of mass media and information technologies which appearance caused new phenomenon, i.e. the mosaic culture of the perception of the world. The speaker touched upon linear and non-linear paradigms, their usage in international diplomacy.

In the second part of the report the former and current perceptions of “war”, “peace” notions were presented, their essential differences were mentioned, which emerging caused the necessity to form new theory of “war” – the theory of net-centric war.

At the end the active discussion was arisen.
