ISSUES OF INFORMATION SECURITY Autumn school, lesson six
On November 20 the sixth lesson of “Issues of Information Security” autumn school took place.
The presentation was made by the public relations senior official of CANDLE Liana Ayvazyan and “Noravank” Foundation expert Samvel Martirosyan.
In her “The image of the country and international relations: the environment of the 21st century” report L. Ayvazyan presented several formulations of the notion of “image”, its types (state image, ethnic image, media image, foreign policy image, geopolitical image and etc), its components and functions. The reporter also underlined the importance of creation of the positive image of the country in the context of contemporary international relations.
S. Martirosyan in his “The growing role of social networks” report spoke about several well-known social networks (e.g. Facebook, Twitter), presented statistic data on social networks.
The reports were followed by the active discussion.
