STRATEGY SPECIFICS OF CHINA

A seminar on China’s strategy specifics was organized at the Noravank Foundation on May 11, 2018. The event was attended by the Foundation’s experts, and leading Armenian specialists.

The keynote speakers, Gagik Harutyunyan, Executive Director of the Noravank Foundation and Andranik Hovhannisyan, Expert, presented the economic indices of China in the recent decades, achievements in the science and technology, as well as the spiritual/ideological foundation of the Chinese society which have contributed to this country’s progress in various areas. The speakers then discussed the policies of China in the Far East, particularly the relations with South Korea and Japan. Both the potential of and barriers to tripartite cooperation were presented.

The keynotes were followed by an active Q&A and discussion session. Many opinions were expressed.
