THE EURASIAN ECONOMIC UNION: THE RESULTS OF THE FIRST THREE YEARS OF FUNCTIONING AND VISIBLE PROSPECTS

A conference titled The Eurasian Economic Union: the Results of the First Three Years of Functioning and Visible Prospects was organized at the Noravank Foundation on April 25, 2018.

The speakers discussed the conceptual foundations of Eurasianism, prerequisites of EAEU establishment, its goals and objectives, the significance Eurasian integration for the Armenian economy along with it geopolitical and geo-economic aspects, the prospects of energy Armenia’s security and development in the context of the Eurasian integration.

An active discussion unfolded after the presentations. Many opinions were expressed.
