TURKEY’S POLICIES ON DIASPORA

A seminar titled Turkey’s Policies on Diaspora was organized at the Noravank Foundation on December 15, 2017. The keynote was delivered by Arestakes Simavoryan, Head of the Centre for Armenian Studies at the Noravank Foundation. He presented the history, geographical distribution and organizational structures of the Turkish diaspora. The speaker then discussed the government-diaspora cooperation in political, economic, scientific and information areas.

The keynote was followed by an active discussion, with various opinions expressed.
