PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ONE BELT, ONE ROAD AND INTERCONNECTED DEVELOPMENT IN EURASIAN REGION IN PRC

A seminar on the results of the international conference One Belt, One Road and Interconnected Development in Eurasian Region held in Beijing on April 16-29 was organized at the Noravank Foundation on May 5, 2017. This conference was attended by Karen Veranyan, Head of Centre for Political Studies at the Noravank Foundation.

The mentioned conference was organized by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and attended by 25 representatives of government institutions and experts/scientific communities from Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.

The thematic directions of lectures conducted during the scientific conference were presented, along with the details of visits to and meetings with management of industrial parks and free trade zones in a number of Chinese cities (Shanghai, Tianjin, Suzhou ).

The speaker mentioned program and research directions in the context of which there might be an opportunity in near future for establishing cooperation between the Noravank Foundation and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
