MEETING AT THE NORAVANK FOUNDATION

A meeting with Mher Terteryan, Adviser to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia took place at the Noravank Foundation on February 16, 2017.

Gagik Harutyunyan, Executive Director of the Noravank Foundation, presented the activities, main achievements and objectives of the Foundation. He spoke about the research and educational programs and main directions of activities for 2017, emphasizing the importance of think tank – government cooperation in overcoming the challenges faced by Armenia and the Armeniancy.

Mher Terteryan, Adviser to Prime Minister, presented the general vision of the government headed by Karen Karapetyan with regard the milestones of development for Armenia, and underscored the importance of consolidating human and intellectual resources of Armenia and Armeniancy. He emphasized the necessity to increase the effectiveness of cooperation between the government and Noravank Foundation

An agreement was reached during the meeting to establish a taskforce to organize and implement activities for addressing the mentioned issues in a joint effort.
