CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURES OF AZERBAIJAN

A seminar-discussion on critical infrastructures of Azerbaijan was held at the Noravank Foundation on December 16, 2016.

The keynote speaker, A. Marjanyan, presented the concept of “critical infrastructures” and classified them according to tangible and non-tangible groups. He then presented the work plan for study of Azerbaijan’s critical infrastructures and expected outcomes.

The participants of the seminar-discussion exchanged thoughts about methodology to determine critical infrastructures. It was recommended to focus the study on human resources, socioeconomic area, information security, work with the diaspora and other factors. The importance of cooperation between Noravank Foundation’s Centers and efficient distribution of work during the study was emphasized.
