PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS IN GEORGIA AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE COUNTRY’S DOMESTIC AND FOREIGN POLICIES
A seminar titled Parliamentary Elections in Georgia and Their Impact on the Country’s Domestic and Foreign Policies was organized at Noravank Foundation on November 2, 2016, attended by experts and consultants of the Foundation, specialists of the area, diplomats and representatives of public/political circles.
Keynote speaker Joni Melikyan, Expert of the Centre for Political Studies of Noravank Foundation and Researcher at the Regional Studies Centre of the Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia, presented the internal political situation immediately before the parliamentary elections and thereafter, as well as analyzed the results of election, along with their impact on the country’s domestic and foreign policies.
After the keynote the participants continued work through questions, answers and opinion exchange on regional security and national security of the Republic of Armenia.
