MEETING AT THE NORAVANK FOUNDATION
On July 1, 2016 a meeting took place at the Noravank Foundation with the delegation of China Institute of International Studies of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was headed by Mr. Su Ge, President of the Institute. The delegation also included Dr. Chen Yurong, Director of Department for European-Central Asian Studies, and Dr. Bai Lianlei, Research Fellow in the Department for European-Central Asian Studies.
Issues of mutual interest were discussed, including geopolitical developments, security environment in South Caucasus, economic conditions of the two countries, the Artsakh issue and the situation arisen in the aftermath of the four-day war. During the meeting the possible ways of collaboration between the two institutions (in particular, visit of Noravank Foundation delegation to the China Institute of International Studies), joint studies and organization of a conference were also discussed.
