PROBLEMS OF INFORMATION SECURITY AND DIASPORA IN THE ROA

A seminar titled Problems of Information Security and Diaspora in the RoA was conducted at the Noravank Foundation on March 18, 2016. Presentations were made by the Foundation’s experts.

A. Zhamakochyan, Head of the Educational Centre, and D. Galstyan, Deputy Head of the Information Centre, spoke about information policies carried out by Armenian and Azerbaijani mass media, focusing on problems of enemy image creation.

A. Simavoryan, Head of the Centre for Armenian Studies, made a presentation about influence of regional characteristics on the Diaspora communities.

V. Hoveyan, Senior Expert of the Centre for Armenian Studies elaborated on impacts of modern geopolitical realities on the Diaspora and problems of Armenians in Syria.
