SOME THEORETICAL AND METHODOLOGICAL APPROACHES TO INFORMATION SECURITY

A round table discussion on some theoretical and methodological approaches to information security was organized at Noravank Foundation on December 10, 2015. The keynote speaker at the round table was Arthur Atanesyan, Head of the Chair of Applied Sociology at the Yerevan State University.

He presented the different theoretical approaches to information security and their manifestations in the national information security doctrines of the Republic of Armenia and Russian Federation. The participants of the discussion expressed their opinions on approaches to perceptions of information security and problems of practical application thereof.

The round table was organized in the framework of the program “Creation of an information security manual.”
