REGARDING THE MODEL OF ECONOMIC COOPERATION BETWEEN ARMENIA AND DIASPORA

A seminar titled Regarding the Model of Economic Cooperation between Armenia and Diaspora was held at Noravank Foundation on March 17, 2015. Keynote was delivered by Karen Adonts (Moscow).

The speaker presented the contemporary trends in global economy, the modern economic models in the world, and then described the current economic situation in Armenia, as well as prospects of its development. The speaker emphasized the importance of improving demographic situation, the GDP per capita and other indices, noting the necessary resources and prerequisites for it, as well the role and potential of Diaspora in economic development of Armenia.

The keynote was followed by active discussions on the topic.
