
MEETING AT THE NORAVANK FOUNDATION
On March 4, 2015 Noravank Foundation hosted a meeting with Namık Kemal Dinç and Ayhan Işık, representatives of the Kurdish Zan Institute for Social, Political and Economic Studies. The meeting was also attended by Pakrat Estukyan, Armenian language department editor of Agos Weekly, and Nshan Gyuregh, an Istanbul-born student of Yerevan State University Department of History. Noravank Foundation was represented at the meeting by Vahram Hovyan, Acting Deputy Director, Arestakes Simavoryan, Head of the Centre for Armenian Studies, and Anushavan Barseghyan, Expert Consultant of the Centre for Political Studies.
The participants discussed the current situation of the Armenian community in Turkey, trends observed presently in the Kurdish movement, prospects of Armenian-Kurdish relations, as well as the opportunities of cooperation between the Noravank Foundation and Zan Institute for Social, Political and Economic Studies.
