SEMINAR ON INFORMATION SECURITY PROBLEMS

A seminar titled Information Security was conducted on January 29, 2014 in the Noravank Foundation. It was attended by experts of the Noravank Foundation, as well as Yerevan State University Department of Sociology representatives, including Arthur Atanesyan, Chair of Applied Sociology, Nvard Melkonyan, Associate Professor and Anna Malkhasyan, Lecturer.

During the seminar the participants discussed the problems and conceptual approaches pertaining to information security. The interdisciplinary approach in this issue was highlighted. The confusion in terminology and issues of interpretation, as well as the potential methods to overcome those were also discussed.

The seminar was moderated by Gagik Harutyunyan, Director of the Noravank Foundation.
