MEETING AT NORAVANK FOUNDATION

A meeting with representatives of the Armenian Evangelical Church and the management of Noravank Foundation took place on January 26, 2015.

The Armenian Evangelical Church was represented at the meeting by President of the Union of Armenian Evangelical Church and President of the Union of Armenian Evangelical Churches in the Near East Rev. Megrditch Karagoezian, President of the Armenian Evangelical Community in Syria Rev. Haroutioun Selimian, Representative of the Armenian Missionary Association of America Harout Nercessian and Press and Publications Correspondent of the Central Office of the Armenia branch of the Armenian Missionary Association of America Andranik Mardoyan. From the Noravank Foundation the meeting was attended by Executive Director Gagik Harutyunyan and Acting Deputy Director Vahram Hovyan.

The issues discussed during the meeting included the modern challenges faced by Armenia and Diaspora in the context of geopolitical processes, prospects of uncovering and efficient utilization of the national potential, national development strategy based on the scientific and technological progress, as well as opportunities of further cooperation between Noravank Foundation and Armenian Evangelical Church.
