INTER-COMMUNAL WORSHIP FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY

On Sunday, January 21st, 2018 at 5:00 p.m., the Heads and the clergy of the Armenian Evangelical, Catholic and Orthodox Churches were gathered for a special worship service for “Christian Unity” at the Armenian Catholic Holy Trinity (Zevartnots) Church. During the service, the heads of the Armenian Communities, Rev. Haroutune Selimian, President of the Armenian Evangelical Community in Syria, Archbishop Shahan Sarkissian, Head of the Armenian Apostolic church of Aleppo and Father Gomidas Dadaghlian, Representative of the Armenian Catholic Church of Aleppo, all expressed their heartfelt thoughts to the audience.

The program also included Scripture readings, spiritual songs and prayers.

The service ended with a prayer and benediction said by the heads of the Armenian Evangelical and Apostolic churches as well as the representative of the Armenian Catholic Church in Aleppo.
