SPIRITUAL AND TECHNOLOGICAL RESOURCES AND ISSUES OF ALLIANCE MAKING IN HYBRID REALITIES

Gagik Harutyunyan, Ara Marjanyan

Resume

The article shows that the constructive development of societies is possible only if there is a positive interconnection between the cultural/civilizational and knowledge resources. This precondition is especially important in the current conditions of global and multi-polar hybrid confrontations. This reality, in turn, makes the issue of choosing alliances among different countries an exceptionally relevant matter. In this context, the article analyzes the results of a large-scale survey conducted by WIN/Gallup Int. in 2016 in 68 countries of the world to find out public preferences in selecting military allies. As a result of the analysis, the politico-cultural and politicoeconomic motives and perceptions have been uncovered, prompted by which the societies in some countries choose military allies, particularly when such choice falls on Russia, USA or China.

SCIENTIFIC AND INFORMATION POLICY AND THE HYBRID WARS

Ara Marjanyan

Resume

The article addresses the issue of geopolitical consolidation of country groups. Using the notions of centralizer and normalizer for groups of countries (“Worlds of the World”) introduced by the authors earlier, examples of relations dialectics between them are reviewed. On the example of population surveys for 68 countries of the world (66,000 respondents), the extent of “strategic magnetism” between countries within and outside a given group is analyzed. A trend towards forming bipolar configuration of the world is uncovered, along with the importance of linguistic and information (i.e. civilizational) component of mutual attraction. The main characteristics of hybrid wars occurring along all “tectonic” faults and frontiers between the “Worlds of the World” are formulated. The Azerbaijani aggression of April, 2016 is emphasized as something attributable to that type of phenomena.

Suren Vardumyan

Resume

Based on the analysis and generalization of “Model National civilization-cognitive Program”, the article presents an attempt to offer certain solutions for educational, human-cognitive and moral-ethical problems of the governmental and institutional management, which are urgent in terms of the national security under the current conditions of increasing globalization processes and their reflection upon the transformational realities in Armenia.

THE NEW ARCHITECTURE OF THE “BIG REGIONAL ORDER”

Alexander Harutyunyan

Resume

An analysis of unfolding processes in the global politics shows that the modern world is characterized by a deep vacuum of the global system created as a result of the entire world order architecture crisis and absence of stabilizing microsystemic paradigms. It is filled with a fierce clash of a number of regional geopolitical projects and geostrategic programs, which perhaps have higher potential of conflicts and crisis fervor than all past epochs. One of the key arenas of this acrimonious standoff on the geopolitical map of the modern world considered in this analysis is the “Greater Middle East” or as more widely defined in the context of this article, the “Greater Eurasian Region”. The essence of processes unfolding in this key region is the struggle between the main involved geopolitical subjects to reformat the region and construct a dominant regional historical-geopolitical configuration. In this sense, along with global level mega-projections by the largest subjects, the USA, Russia and China, there is also a clash of three large regional geopolitical programs: “pan-Sunnism” (primarily pan-Saudi), “pan-Shiism” (primarily pan-Iranian) and “pan-Ottomanism”. A special attention is paid to pan-Ottomanism, which is considered potentially the most destructive strategy/program for the Greater Regional Order.

PSYCHO-PHYSIOLOGICAL POLYGRAPHOLOGICAL DETERMINATION OF THE CHARACTER TYPES OF ATHLETS

Karen Panchulazyan

Resume

An integrated modified system of psycho-physiological determination of the character types of athletes with application of polygraph is developed, which is adapted to the specifics of the sports. A complex psycho-physiological survey using a polygraph allows us to identify individual biological features, functional disorders of the nervous system and to form positive psychophysical mobilization readiness of athletes. Cooperation of polygraph registration of the organism’s nonspecific physiological reactions with a psycho-physiological definition of the character types of athletes serves a universal means of decoding subconscious nonverbal elements of the psyche of athletes.
