PERSPECTIVES OF DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC RELATIONS BETWEEN GEORGIA AND ITS NEIGHBOURS
Arman Navasardyan
Resume
Each of the neighboring countries views the development of relations with Georgia from the perspective of their geopolitical interests. The approaches of Azerbaijan and Turkey are based on energy cooperation and political interests. Iran seeks an alternative in its energy plans with Turkey and Azerbaijan. Russia considers the barrier created by Turkish - Azerbaijani relations, and further strengthening of the Iranian factor in the Caucasus, as well. It also aims to affirm its presence in Georgian-Iranian energy plans. The possible participation of Armenia in Georgian - Iranian gas projects will move the Armenian - Georgian relations into a more longterm platform, thus essentially weakening the influence of Turkish - Azerbaijani duet. Besides the economic integration processes, the dominant idea of Georgia's diplomatic strategy can also be considered the inviolability of its borders and avoiding the need to face new complexities caused by the ethnic minorities, with all their possible dangerous prospects.

Roman KarapetyanResume
One of the main issues on the agenda of the Armenian-Georgian bilateral relations is to keep neutrality on the Nagorno-Karabakh, Abkhazia and South Ossetia conflicts. Over the last two decades the cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan on the one hand, and in Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey trilateral format, on the other, has a dynamic pace of development. In these circumstances, Georgian military and political cooperation with Turkey and Azerbaijan gains new overtones of being directed against Armenia.
