The might of the allied armies depends not only on political decisions, quality of weapons, etc., but also on the system of values, worldview landmarks, nature of interethnic relations and psychological mood of troops and societies of the allied countries. In the modern world the content of the aforementioned humanitarian factors is mostly formed by the surrounding information environment in which both the armed forces and societies of the allied countries exist. Thus, providing humanitarian component of information security of the CSTO is a complex multivariable task the solution of which supposes both everyday work in this direction and elaboration of conceptual algorithms. Association of Analytical Structures, possessing big professional and synergetic potential, among other important tasks must implement projects, which will help to form optimal information and psychological environment of cooperation within the framework of the CSTO.

This article features political and economic issues of integration of Armenia into European economic space and Customs Union from the point of view of their impact on the energy security.
For the support of the Armenian interests in entering the Customs Union one should elaborate new mechanism which secures definite preferences of receiving cheap energy carriers for Armenia due to its special location (absence of border, blockade, direct vicinity of the EU zone). In case of absence of such format, entering of Armenia into the Customs Union will not give Armenia many dividends in the aspect of energy security.

Last year the government of Armenia presented at least three long-term programs of social and economic development of the country to the public. Two of those programs are approved by the National Assembly and one is in the status of project. The Government also approves short and midterm programs in definite directions of economic, budget and institutional development. Currently, and as it is forecasted in the future too, there is a macroeconomic environment with constantly increasing factors of uncertainty, instability, unpredictability and non-linearity of political, social and economic events and processes. Their influence and the relating risks increase with the growth of complexity of the considered systems.
Heads of the biggest corporations and government should understand that realization of one of the scenarios – optimistic, pessimistic or neutral, depends on their decisions. And one of the tools, which can direct the decisions of the key actors on the global arena in a right direction, is the scenario planning.

Practical implementation of conventional containment in regard to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict becomes rather actual topic of the academic and practical analysis. This refers to the possibility of realization of the military and political containment of Azerbaijan by the Armenian parties in order to deter it (under the threat of infliction of unacceptable damage) from a temptation to resume military actions against Nagorno-Karabakh.

The article features philosophical and political analysis of Islamization of Central Asia, where in intensive search for a national identity and spiritual rebirth the religious and philosophical heritage that is directly related to the spiritual and intellectual tradition is reconsidered. It is largely due to the growth of non-traditional religious ideological programs in Central Asia, which are increasingly being squeezed to the periphery of the traditional system of values that are typical of the indigenous peoples of the region. Current trends, unfortunately, lead to the growth of radical religious networks, which mainly come to the Central Asian region from outside. Despite the fact that the authorities are making efforts to prevent the spread of Islam in the society, is becoming an increasingly important factor in the political life of Central Asia.

One of the hardest times in the medieval history of Near Asia, including Iran and its north-eastern province – Atropotene, is the age of the Arab conquests. By 651 CE Iran became a part of the Arab Caliphate and Atropotene formed separate province within the caliphate. It is obvious that being religious and cultural center of Iran (it is suffice to mention that one of the most important fire temples in the Zoroastrian Iran situated on the territory of Atropotene) and strategically important territory which provided access to Armenia and furthermore to the Caucasus, Atropotene did not lose its geopolitical significance and due to this fact caliphate paid special attention to it.

Almost all the key questions of the history of Armenia and Armenian people were deliberately distorted by the Azerbaijani historians. At first sight the vain attempts of the Azerbaijani historians may seem to be ignorant and dilettantish to any person who is familiar with the basics of history but in reality this is implementation of politically motivated state order.
Moreover, in the issue of distortion of key moments in the history of Armenia Azerbaijani historians were not original; they always followed lead of falsifications by the Turkish historians. But there is no subjunctive mood in history so all the attempts to stain Armenian history by the Azerbaijani historians are doomed to failure.
