PROBLEMS AND POSSIBILITIES OF THE CONFESSIONAL SEGMENTS OF DIASPORA

The book covers the study of the issues connected with different confessional segments of the Armenian Diaspora – Catholic, Evangelical and Armenians converted to Islam. Special attention is paid to the role and significance of the Catholic and Evangelical Armenians in the history of the Armenian people in the spheres of culture, science, preserving of the Armenian language and culture and etc. Their contribution to the development of the Armenian civilization is pointed out. Special consideration is given to the mutual perceptions, interconfessional concord and cooperation. The book is intended for academic community and wide range of readers.
