ARMENIAN COMMUNITY IN THE US

This book features current academic potential of the Armeniancy in the US, contribution of the Armenian scientists and centers for the Armenian Studies into the development of the academic and educational sphere of the country.

The analysis of formation and political and judicial grounds for further development of the institution of lobbying in the United State are presented. Special attention is paid to the activity of the Armenian lobby groups and organizations in the US, issues of influence of the Armenian lobby on the decision making processes in the US. Parallels are drawn between the activity of Armenian and other ethnic lobby groups (Turkish-Azerbaijani, Greek, Jewish) working in the country.
