GAREGIN NJDEH AND KGB MEMORIES OF AN INTELLIGENCE OFFICER

In the book of the late State Security Colonel Vache Hovsepyan is stated the documentary story of one of the most dramatic periods of life (1952-1953) of the prominent national and political figure Garegin Ter-Harutyunyan (Njdeh), when he was in the prison of ASSR (Armenian Soviet Social Republic) State Security Ministry in Yerevan. At that period a young Captain, Deputy Chief of the First (intelligence) Department of the ASSR State Security Ministry Vache Hovsepyan was personally communicating with the prisoner called “Zubr.” His personal memories have made the basis of the very book. Besides, there are a number of exceptionally valuable documents (secret official notes, letters, reports of interrogations etc.), which let us get a more complete insight about the personality and activity of Garegin Tar-Harutyunyan.
