THE ARMENIANS AND BAKU (1850-1920) /Russian translation/

The book ( in russian) presents the history of one of the most talented and creative communities - the Armenian community in Baku. Here is stated the fact of the Armenians' great contribution in oil industry, trade and other fields as well as in the making of Baku itself.

Here is also presented the horror of the genocide of Armenians perpetrated by Turks and Azerbaijanis in Baku in 1918 on the basis of factual materials. In the book one can also find archival data, according to which the amount of Turkey’s compensation for the material damages caused to the Armenians in Baku makes 3,5 billion pound sterling.
