The Armenians and Baku (1850-1920)

The book presents the history of one of the most talented and creative communities - the Armenians community in Baku. Here is stated the fact of the Armenians' great contribution in oil industry, trade and other fields as well as in the making of Baku itself.

Here is presented the horror of the genocide of Armenians perpetrated by Turks and Azerbaijanis in Baku in 1918 and legal grounding of financial-material compensation of it. In the book are also reveled and reanalyzed the cradles of Armenian-Azerbaijani, Armenian-Turkish relations and Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The book is intended for historians, figures interested in social-political problems and wide range of readers.
