OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

The objectives of the study were as follows:

1. Comparative assessment of the Armenian society’s general standpoints on issues of Armenia’s cooperation with Russia and the European Union.
2. Assessment of the Armenian society’s viewpoints regarding Armenia’s membership in the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
3. Comparative assessment of the Armenian society’s preferences concerning the cooperation with Russia and the European Union in areas vitally important for Armenia, as well as importance comparison of certain offers made by Russia and the European Union.
4. Comparative assessment of the Armenian society’s general cultural/linguistic stance toward Russia and Europe.
