“Noravank” Foundation was established in 2000 by the decision of the RA government and according to its Charter the incumbent prime-minister is the Head of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation. Being created as a centre for strategic researches and innovations, today “Noravank” is one of the leading organizations in the RA working as a modern “think tank”. Currently the Executive Director of the Foundation is Gagik Harutyunyan.

Within the structure of the Foundation the “Centre for the Armenian Studies” is functioning (head of the centre
Arestakes Simavoryan). Its aim is to examine Armenian communities and elaborate the methods of integration of the Armeniancy. In this context special attention is paid to the problem of our compatriots, who, due to various reasons, do not speak Armenian and do not belong to the Armenian Apostolic Church. The “Centre for the Armenian Studies” works in cooperation with the RA Ministry of Diaspora.

The “Centre for the Information Studies” of “Noravank” (head of the centre –
Gagik Harutyunyan) deals with the issues of information security of Armenia and Ameniancy amid the current tough informational confrontation.

The “Centre for the Political Studies” (head of the centre
Sevak Sarukhanyan) carries out monitoring and analysis of the regional geopolitical and geo-economic developments in the context of national security of the RA.

The “Educational Centre” (head
of the centre – Anna Zhamakochyan) arranges lectures on topical subjects (the so called “Noravank Readings") and summer schools. In prospect it is planned to create on the base of that centre the special educational institution for senior management training for both the state organizations and Armenian organizations abroad.

“Noravank” publishes “21st century” journal (in Armenian, Russian and English). “Globus” is published in association with “Gazprom Armenia” CJSC. The “Editorial Centre” of the Foundation is responsible for those publications (head
of the centre Lusine Baghramyan). It has produced more than 300 books, journals and other publications for recent years.
